the National Agricultural Law Center is hosting a webinar titled, COOL Or Not So COOL?: Overview and Discussion of Country of Origin
Labeling. The presenters will be J.
Dudley Butler, Farm and Ranch Law Group
and former USDA GIPSA Administrator, and John G. Dillard, Associate Attorney at
Olsson Frank Weeda. The panel will be
moderated by Harrison Pittman, Director, National Agricultural Law Center, a
unit of the University of Arkansas System Division of Agriculture. For additional information about the webinar and

The
webinar is designed to be useful designed to be useful to anyone — attorneys,
lobbyists, policymakers, extension personnel, producers, and others — with an
interest in Country of Origin Labeling. It will begin with a synopsis of COOL,
including its recent history and status. It will then continue in a
point/counterpoint format for discussion of key legal and policy issues.
