The Arkansas Women in Agriculture Conference will be
held on March 13-14, 2014 at the Wyndham Riverfront Hotel in North Little Rock,
Arkansas. Additional information on the

On Thursday, the conference will feature keynote
speaker, Carrie Mess, also known as “Dairy Carrie.” Carrie is an agriculture advocate, blogger,
and dairy farmer. To learn more about

On Friday, the conference will host a Farm Bill Panel
Luncheon. Panelists include: Senator
John Boozman, Cynthia Edwards, Dr. Bert Greenwalt, Harrison Pittman – Director
of the National Agricultural Law Center, and Scott Sullivan.
The Farm Bill Panel Luncheon is open to the public, but
additional participants must register in advance.
The conference will include sessions in four tracks:
lifestyle, technology, production, and risk management.
Center Senior Staff Attorney, Beth Rumley,
will speak during the risk management track of the conference on “Hot Topics in
Agricultural Law”. Center Senior Staff
Attorney, Rusty Rumley, will also speak during the risk management track on the
“National Agricultural Law Center.”
