Subject Description: As international agricultural trade increases, international law becomes more important to agriculture and food production. Consequently, understanding the basic structure and operation of international law and the organizations is imperative. This subject area deals with international legal developments pertinent to U.S. agriculture as well as relevant developments among the various international institutions such as the World Trade Organization and the United Nations.
