
The Farm Foundation will host a Forum on Tuesday July 14, 2009 at 9 a.m. in the National Press Club. The focus of the Forum will be on Competition for Water Resources. Presenters include Erik Peterson of the Center for Strategic and International Studies; Dan Keppen of the Family Farm Alliance; Karl Wirkus of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation; and a representative from the environmental community.
Interested participants need to RSVP by the close of business on Thursday July 9. People with an interest in agricultural, food and rural policy, including members of Congress, congressional staff, executive branch officials, industry representatives, NGO representatives and members of the media are encouraged to participate.
