A position in the agriculture and food arena for those located out West or locating to relocate there is currently available.
The position, with the Oregon Department of Agriculture in the Marketing Division is for an Operations and Policy Analyst 3 and Farm to School Coordinator. The position is located in Portland. Those interested need to have a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences, Natural Resources, or “any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and our years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.
The duty and responsibilities of the position including acting as a liaison with Oregon School Districts, Oregon Department of Education, NGO’s and “stakeholders interested in increasing utilization of locally produced food product in Oregon k-12 school feeding programs.
