The annual meeting of the Agriculture, Food, and Human Values Society (AFHVS), the Association for the Study of Food and Society (ASFS), and the Society for Anthropology of Food and Nutrition (SAFN) will take place June 9-12 at the University of Montana at Missoula. Titled "Food and Ag Under the Big Sky," the joint meeting is an annual event that brings all three organizations together each year.
The conference is not limited to academic sessions and also seeks participation from farmers, activists, and anyone else with practical knowledge of food and agricultural systems. Businesses and organizations are welcome to participate as exhibitors.
