The Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry will hold a hearing this Thursday regarding Ramona Emilia Romero as General Counsel to the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The December 9 hearing will be held in the Senate Agriculture Committee Hearing Room at 10:00 am.Romero serves as Corporate Counsel for DuPont and General Counsel for Sentinel Transportation LLC, another DuPont Company. She has held various positions within DuPont since 1998, and prior to her employment there was a litigator at Cromwell & Morning in Washington, DC. She was named by Hispanic Business Magazine as one of the 100 most influential Hispanics in the United States, and she completed her B.A. at Barnard College and her J.D. at Harvard Law School.
