Employers of illegal immigrants may soon have law enforcement evaluating their practices. An audit office has been established to verify company hiring practices. U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has issued a release stating that the Employment Compliance Inspection Center will be auditing even those employers with a large number of employees.
The center will examine I-9 forms filled out by employees to analyze whether or not illegal immigrants may work for the employer. The Obama administration plans to use the center to crackdown on the employment of illegal immigrants.
