The National Agricultural Law Center will host a
webinar, “COOL or Not-So-COOL: Overview and Discussion of Country of Origin Labeling”
on Thursday, November 14 from 12-1:30 CDT.
Debate over Country of Origin Labeling (COOL) has
intensified since mandatory COOL for several products -- including beef, pork,
and lamb -- was included in the 2002 Farm Bill.
More than a decade later, this debate is playing out in each branch of the
government as well as the World Trade Organization.
