Farm Bureau Launches "Legal Affairs" Website

Yesterday, the American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) announced the launching of a new legal affairs section to their website.  The new section is to help members get a better understanding of the legal advocacy that AFBF is involved in on their members behalves.

According to the press release, "[t]he legal advocacy program advocates beneficial changes in the law for agriculture through coordination among member state Farm Bureaus. The combination of increased coordination with the legal advocacy program and AFBF’s extensive experience in public policy advocacy gives Farm Bureau a greater effect in the legal arena.
While AFBF attorneys cannot provide legal advice, they do offer legal information on issues important to Farm Bureau members. The legal advocacy section of AFBF’s Web site makes it easy to find the information on active and closed cases impacting farmers and ranchers. In addition, the section is a great resource for anyone interested in learning more about AFBF’s impact in courtrooms across the United States."
