The Family Farm Forum is organized by the National Institute of Food and Agriculture (NIFA) Competitive Programs and Economic and Community Systems units. The forum is held twice per year with each forum focusing on a specific issue relevant to family farms. “Each forum consists of an Update, an electronic document that describes research and outreach on a particular issue, followed by a Web-based seminar, or webinar, that promotes discussion and networking among agency partners. The webinar also highlights successful programs, identifies relevant funding opportunities, and supports research, teaching, and outreach activities that focus on America’s family farms and ranches.” The webinars are hosted by Iowa State University Extension.
Newsletters and webinar recordings for the past five Family Farm Forums are now available here.
Note: a link to the PowerPoint presentation used in the most recent forum (Agriculture of the Middle) is included because of unfortunate problems with the webinar sound system.
